Bruce A. Adye, M.D.

Dr. Adye was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He completed his surgical training at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Washington and vascular fellowship at St. Mary Medical Center, Long Beach, California. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Adye's special interests include vascular disease and advanced laparoscopic surgery. In his spare time he enjoys golf and cycling. Dr. Adye joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2002.

Todd S. Burry, M.D.

Dr. Burry was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his surgical training at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Burry has a special interest in pediatrics, bariatrics and trauma. Dr. Burry is Medical Director of the Bariatric Center at Deaconess Hospital. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters as well as flying, scuba diving and playing piano. He joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2002.

David J. Carlson, M.D.

Dr. Carlson was born in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a graduate of Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana and Washington University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has served as president of the Indiana Chapter of the American College of Surgeons. He enjoys water sports and cooking. He is a member of the United States Army Reserve Medical Corp and served in Iraq. Dr. Carlson joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1977.

Doron H. Finn, M.D.

Dr. Finn was born in Johannesburg, South Africa.  He graduated from the University of Oklahoma - Tulsa.  He completed his surgical training at the University of Oklahoma.  He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  He enjoys playing piano, listening to music, watching hockey, reading, working on his computer and photography.  Dr. Finn joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2008. 

Prasad V. Gade, M.D.

Dr. Gade was born in Kakinada, India. He attended Andhra Medical College in India and completed his surgical training at King George Hospital. He completed a vascular surgical fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and by the Board of Vascular Surgery. His special interests are endovascular surgery, aortic aneurysm repair and laparoscopic surgery. In his spare time he enjoys drawing and painting. Dr. Gade joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2000.

Cary L. Hanni, M.D.

Dr. Hanni was born in Decatur, Indiana. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan and did a vascular surgery fellowship at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indianapolis. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the Director of the Trauma Program at Deaconess Hospital. In his spare time he enjoys golfing and community service. Dr. Hanni joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1987.

Christopher T. Haughn, M.D.

Dr. Haughn was born in Columbus, Ohio. He is a graduate of Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Northeastern Ohio College of Medicine in Akron, Ohio. Dr. Haughn also completed a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His special interests include advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery. In his spare time Dr. Haughn enjoys hiking, fishing and spending time with his family. Dr. Haughn joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2005.

Michael B. Hoover, M.D.

Dr. Hoover was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of Emory University of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed his surgical training at that institution. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hoover has served as president of the Vanderburgh County Medical Society and as president of the Indiana State Medical Association. In his spare time he enjoys boating, hunting and fishing. Dr. Hoover joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1978.

Stephen Lanzarotti, M.D.

Dr. Lanzarotti was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas.  He received his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas in Arlington in medical technology.  He attended medical school in San Antonio, Texas, where he met his wife.  He undertook his general surgery residency training at the University of Arizona and went on to complete his fellowship in surgical critical care at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care.  His areas of specialty are general surgery and acute care surgery.  His interests include reading, movies, golf and spending time with his wife.  He joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2008.

Joseph C. McConaughy, M.D.

Dr. McConaughy was born in Berwyn, Illinois and grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, Downers Grove. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago.  He completed his surgical residency at the University of Cincinnati before starting private practice in a general surgery group in Downers Grove, Illinois, where he practiced for 24 years.  He is board certified in general surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  His special interests are advanced laparoscopic surgery, pediatrics, breast and peripheral vascular surgery.  In his spare time Dr. McConaughy enjoys golf and time with his wife, Connie, and his two children in Downers Grove. He joined Welborn Clinic in surgery, where he worked for 4 years until joining Evansville Surgical Associates in 2008.

William J. Millikan, M.D.

Dr. Millikan was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of Wabash College and Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Emory University. Dr. Millikan is the Director of the Trauma Services at St. Mary's Medical Center. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Millikan served in the United States Air Force Reserve and Desert Storm in 1991. In his spare time he enjoys boating. Dr. Millikan joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1999.

Kenneth L. Nachtnebel, M.D.

Dr. Nachtnebel was born in Ottawa, Illinois. He is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Medicine and completed his surgical residency at that institution. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Nachtnebel holds the position of Medical Director of Surgical Service at St. Mary's Medical Center. He also served as president of the medical staff at Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Nachtnebel enjoys gardening. He joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1974.

Kristi K. Peck, M.D.

Dr. Peck was born in Chicago, Illinois.  She is a graduate of the American University of the Caribbean Medical School and completed her surgical training at St. John hospital in Detroit Michigan.  She is an associate fellow with the American College of Surgeons.  Dr. Peck’s special interests include trauma and dialysis access.  She enjoys fishing and spending time with her family.  Dr. Peck joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2009.

Brian W. Schymik, M.D.

Dr. Schymik was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City. He is certified by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Schymik has a special interest in breast surgery. In his spare time he enjoys building and racing model boats. Dr. Schymik joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1996.

Roger S. Shinnerl, M.D.

Dr. Shinnerl was born in San Diego, California. He is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego Revelle College. He completed medical school at the University of Iowa and a general surgery residency at the University of San Diego Medical Center. He practiced general surgery in northwest Iowa for six years before completing a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Utah. He has special interests in minimally invasive general and vascular surgery, including angioplasty and stenting of blood vessels. In his spare time, Dr. Shinnerl enjoys golf and spending time with wife Elizabeth, son Alex and Andy, and daughter Abby. Dr. Shinnerl joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2007.

Erik B. Throop, M.D.

Dr. Throop was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. He is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is the Medical Director of the Bariatric Center at St. Mary's Medical Center. His surgical interests include advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery. He is an avid skier. Dr. Throop joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1998.

William M. (Matt) Vassy, M.D.

Dr. Vassy was born in Gaffney, South Carolina. He is a graduate of Clemson University and the Georgia Institute of Technology. He completed medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina and served a surgical internship at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. He completed surgical residency at the University of Tennessee Surgical Center in Knoxville and completed a fellowship in surgical critical care while at the University of Tennessee. He has special interests in trauma, critical care and breast surgery. In his spare time, Dr. Vassy enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his wife, Jane and children, Emma and Jackson. Dr. Vassy joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 2006.

Santi Vibul, M.D.

Dr. Vibul was born in Dhonburi, Thailand. He attended the Faculty of Medicine and Siriraj Hospital University of Medical Sciences in Bangkok, Thailand. He completed his surgical training at the University of Pennsylvania. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. In his spare time Dr. Vibul enjoys wood working, photography and his computer. He joined Evansville Surgical Associates in 1980.
